Samantha and Brent have known each other for years. Years and years. After all they met in high school. Kinda. In passing. Brent is a couple years older, so, well, they didn't exactly pay a whole lot of attention then. After all, high school is well...high school. They graduated. Went their separate ways. And then, one day, they met again. You might say they were meeting for the first time, in a way. Because it wasn't high school anymore. And when they got to know one another, well, they both just KNEW. They had found a soulmate.
And when the time was perfect, Brent couldn't wait to pop the question. Except, yeah, well, he did WAIT. He was waiting to do it at the right place, at the right time. He wanted to propose on the Mall in Washington D.C. The problem was, how to get Sam to D.C. without her realizing it. He had a Plan. It went along the lines of taking an unscheduled detour on a long drive. Sam's part was simple. Go to sleep. It should have been so easy. Except. Well...Samantha is a woman. And we women just don't always fall in with the plans of men, even when it is for our own good. So, the drive had a lot of Brent saying "You really should take a nap. You have to work tomorrow." And Samantha saying "I'm trying. I just can't sleep.".... Ten minutes later...."Are you SUUUURRE you don't want to take a nap?" "Nope. Don't need a nap.."
Somehow, in the end, though, he managed just fine to get her to Washington D.C. where he proposed, unbeknownst to him, to an audience of a group of elementary school students. That proposal was, I'm sure, as exciting to those students as the Lincoln Memorial. :) At least, their teacher seemed to think so!
And, now, the big day is nearly here. The day they get hitched, tie the knot, say "I do" and spend the rest of forever as Mr. and Mrs. Rose.
Congratulations, Sam and Brent! You deserve a lifetime of love and happiness. Kurt and I can't wait to photograph your December wedding!
Smiles,
Angelina
