Class of 2015. It is a cliche, but one that every parent of a new senior is saying, anyway..."How did time fly by so fast?" These seniors are the same kids that once jumped on the bed...that once dragged around a blanket...maybe cried on the first day of kindergarten (or maybe took off running for the school bus and yelled, "don't wait up for me, Mom!")
Somehow, I suspect Andrew was one of those last kids. He has always been the adventurous type. Riding a two-wheeler like a champ at a crazy early age...skateboarding. Surfing. And, of course, racing motocross. Lots and lots of racing.
He has a kind heart. He's a good friend. He can take anything apart...and put it back together again better than before he started. He's a hard-worker, smart and patient with little kids--in fact, one afternoon, while her parents were away, he taught a certain little girl to swim. Wonder how I know all that cool stuff? I'm going to totally claim bragging rights here, because he is my nephew. I've seen him grow into this amazing young man. I remember bending over to pick him up. And now, he has to bend over (waaay over) to hug me! And it was our youngest daughter that he taught to swim while we were on vacation together. :)
He stopped by last week for a quick photo session for his senior year. In a few weeks, we'll be sure to get some of his motocross photos done, as well as some shots with his dad's classic roadrunner. For now, here's a preview of a few shots from that night.
It has been an absolute privilege to get to see you grow, Andrew!
Smiles,
Angelina
