A couple of years ago, I did a session of Jen and her sweet pup, Lucy. As we went over her order, there was a mention of this new GUY Jen had met. He was wonderful. He was amazing....and Jen had "that look" in her eye. You know the one. The one that says she was falling and falling hard. Then Jen's mom mentioned to me that Jeff also wanted to place an order...ya know, so that he could have some pictures for himself. And, I knew. I looked right at Jen and said, "Don't forget to call me when you're getting married." :) And, she grinned and looked a little shy and said something silly like "Really, we're just getting to know each other right now."
Uh-huh. :) I have it on personal experience that when you meet the right person, sometimes you just KNOW. And after seeing them together, it's pretty obvious they are meant for each other. They just glow in each others' presence.
We met at Mill Creek Metro Park for their engagement session, and Jen brought along Lucy. Remember Lucy?
There's something about a man who loves your dog that is irresistible! :)
LOVED Jen's idea for a ring shot...and very appropriate considering that it was Lucy who delivered the ring when Jeff proposed. It was tied around her neck. :)
