For those of you unaware of the struggle our daughter Annalisa has had over the last several months, be assured that I will be creating a blog post very soon to explain it all. :)
For the rest of you who have followed Annie's story on Facebook, I think you may be tickled to see her amazing progress. Hopefully, Annie is heading back to school next week for the first time in months. She is doing absolutely fantastic, and I see so much of the happy girl I've been missing since her diagnosis. She still struggles with pain, but not everywhere and not all the time. And she powers through it.
Annie has asked me to "assist" me on shoots for some time. Well, today was the day! She assisted me on a preschool shoot! And in case you think she just tagged along for show, I assure you, she did not. I can be quite the task master on the job. I'm all about the "put that there", "set that there" "chop chop". I'm probably pretty annoying to my assistants, but I move fast, and I need them to keep up. So, no sitting around buffing fingernails on my watch, lol! Annie was fantastic!!! She is extremely organized, very mature and overall a hard-worker. She rocked that clipboard!
Like the sticker in the hair? The things I do to make four year olds smile! :D The preschool teacher snapped this for us. Thanks, Beth!
And here is my assistant. :) Rocking the clipboard, passing out stickers and making the kiddos smile!
Smiles, Angelina
